On the 11.07.2020. The Rulebook on Preventive Measures for Safe and Healthy Work for the Prevention of the Outbreak and Spread of an Infectious Disease Epidemic (the “Rulebook”, attached) enters into force.
Among other things, the Rulebook prescribes the obligation of employers to prepare and adopt a Plan for the implementation of measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of an infectious disease epidemic (“Plan”), which is an integral part of the Risk Assessment Act, as well as the duties of employer and employee.
Specifically, the Rulebook stipulates that the Employer is obliged to adopt the Plan by August 10 at the latest, for all jobs in the work environment. In addition, the Ordinance determines the duty of the employer to apply preventive measures, as well as special preventive measures in the event of an infectious disease.
On the other hand, the Rulebook determines the obligations of the employee in terms of compliance and implementation of appropriate measures, as a result of which it is important that employees are informed in a timely manner of specific obligations.
Our legal team is at your disposal for any additional information and assistance related to the mentioned topic.
